TES Aviation Group
DVB has a majority shareholding in TES Aviation Services Limited, headquartered in South Wales, UK. The company offers innovative commercial and technical solutions to investors and operators of commercial aircraft engines.
DVB invested in TES as means to better understand and control the residual value risk in respect of older aircraft assets. As an aircraft ages and reaches a point of circa 15 years in excess of 80% of the value of the asset resides in the engines. The ability to better understand this residual risk along with the ability to realise additional value for clients at the back end of an aircraft’s life cycle was one of the key reasons for DVB’s investment in the business in 2007.
