TES Adds CFM56-3 to Approved Disassembly Capability

TES has celebrated the induction of the first CFM56-3 engine to be disassembled at the Bridgend facility this week. The addition of the CFM56-3 engine complements TES’ existing disassembly capability on the RB211-535E4 engine and has been brought on line in support of its strategic product focus and a growing CFM56-3 client base. As with the RB211-535E4, the CFM56-3 will become approved under its existing EASA 145 approval. TES has recently developed a partnership with a major airline client that will result in a growing throughput of CFM56-3 engine acquisitions. With additional external disassembly capacity provided by its MRO partnership network, TES is well positioned to continue to grow its material inventories as a substantial provider of quality CFM56-3 material to the aftermarket.

Karl Gibson, Operations Director of TES Aviation Group said; “We are delighted to have now added the CFM56-3 engine to our disassembly capability and this compliments over 15 years of TES technical management experience on this product and our growing EASA 145 services. Following on from this success, we remain committed to continuing investment that allows us to adapt to the changing needs of the industry, whilst continuing to work towards our shared objective of reducing operating costs for our client base and the industry as a whole.”
